[Job description]

As a drawing-related technical artist, you will be responsible for supporting consumer game development with Unreal Engine 4.


[Requirements]

・ Career in consumer games.

・ Practical experience in creating game software on game engines (especially Unreal Engine 4)

Experience in creating materials and workflows to provide to artists

Knowledge about writing

Experience of collaborating with programmers on processing load countermeasures

・ Over 3 years of experience in material production using UE4

・ Over 2 years of experience as an artist in consumer games and video production, and a certain level of art ability


[Preferred requirements]

・ Knowledge of the following DCC tools. It is even better if you have more experience in tool development

Maya

Substance Designer / Painter

Houdini

・ Experience in creating materials "for others to use" regarding backgrounds / characters / effects / post processes

Particularly emphasize the experience of operating basic materials related to the background of realism and characters

・ Ability to keep track of the progress of the entire game and take action to deliver what is needed when and where it is needed

・ Ability to act as an artist by assembling and proposing specifications from ambiguous requests

· Unmistakable knowledge of materials / lights / cameras in PBR with Unreal Engine

・ Deep understanding of drawing load in Unreal Engine (to the extent that problems can be reported to engineers and solved together)

・ Somewhat deep understanding of MAYA

・ Python skill that can create a simple tool (a level that can create a simple model exporter on maya)

Trial period: 3 months

Estimated annual income: 5 to 8.99 million yen

Work location: Tokyo

Working hours: 10:00-19:00 (8 hours of actual work)

Holidays: 2 days a week (Saturdays and Sundays), national holidays

Vacation: Summer vacation, year-end and New Year holidays, and other vacations available
